Participants will learn to identify various dragonfly species and watch their amazing flying skills. The walk covers two miles with a short steep climb. You are advised to bring lunch and field glasses if you have any. The event is mainly intended for adults.
Only service animals are allowed. It may be canceled if weather or air quality turns poor. Visitors who drive need to pay an $8 parking fee.
Art in the Park
When: Wednesday, July 22,10 am - 12 pm | Registration required
It is a family-friendly watercolor activity by the bay. All painting supplies will be provided. Children aged 3 and older are welcome. Apart from service animals, no pets can enter.
Bad weather may lead to cancellation. You can confirm whether the activity will be held two hours ahead of time.
Tennessee Valley Guided Hike
When: Friday, July 24,10 am - 1 pm | Registration required
During the 3-mile guided hike, staff will share local history and organize nature journaling. Participants will discuss possible future restoration of native forests. It will be postponed due to heavy rain.
Parking is free. Space is limited, and meeting details will be offered after registration.
